About
About the Chronicle
Stories told by lamplight — folklore, myth, and the things that move in the dark.
What this is
The Chronicle of Fear is a lamplit notebook on folklore, myth, and the local legends that survive on the strength of being passed down. Ghost stories, case files, field notes, and the small-town legends that don’t make it onto the more famous lists. Sourced where it can be. Carefully told either way.
About the chroniclers
The Chronicle of Fear is written by The Captain and Madam Chronicler — two voices, one lamplight. Both work under their personas here, by design.
The Captain. Keeper of the historical record — the dates, the names, the cold facts behind the warm stories. Full bio coming.
Madam Chronicler. Keeper of the telling — the cadence, the local memory, the way a story changes between the first time you hear it and the last. Full bio coming.
